Rapunzel

My daughter Caroline is pretty infatuated with Tangled lately and wanted a Rapunzel cake. I got this idea from my sisters friend, thanks gina! I took an actual rapunzel barbie and wrapped her in plastic wrap and stuck down into the princess cake form with an 8 inch cake on the bottom to make it taller. Caroline loved it!!!!

Awesome!! I made a less professional version of this cake for Makenzie's birthday last year. I just swirled the frosting on the skirt. Not as impressive, but still really pretty and REALLY easy! This is amazing though, love it!
Also, so sorry to hear your parents house got damaged in the hurricane! Hope everyone is ok!

Hi Maria, The cake looks fantastic. How do you keep the buttercream from melting and gettin messy with the long hair? Is is buttercream flowers on her hair as well? or is there a trick to keep make the buttercream stiff and still nice to eat?
