Cake Walk

We had a few Christmas parties to attend this year as most people do. One in particular was a very small carnival for the great-grand children. My Grandmother-in-law asked me to make a Grand Prize cake for the cake walk. It was nothing super fancy, but still way cute. The Christmas Tree was one of my candy molds, and I just happened to have a small star cutter for the top.

Gingerbread houses 2009

Normally I don't put pictures of people on my blog, but this just had to be shared. We decorated gingerbread houses at my place with my husbands family this year. We had a few mishaps that were pretty funny, Sorry Chan & Beth!

Beth

Red velvet is her favorite, so Chan asked me to make his wife's (my sis-in-law) birthday cake. I tried to do red & white decorations because that looks best with red velvet cake, yeah it turned out looking like a christmas cake. I realized after I put the dots on the big flowers that they looked like poinsettias. It still looked cute and everyone enjoyed it.

Happy Birthday Beth!!!!!!
