Fit & Fabulous!

My girls wanted to make their Grandma Janet something special for her birthday. Since she had already had cake the night before we decided to make her a giant birthday cookie! I baked it in a square cake pan, and tried to take it out before it was cool, hence the cracks on the right side of the cookie. It turned out very yummy, and Grandma seemed to like it... success!

Happy 50th Janet!!!!

Frisky Felines & Pupcakes!

A little girl decided instead of a princess party or something frilly she would have a puppy & kitty party for her birthday! I found these on the Wilton website and put my own little twist on them. Vanilla cupcakes with vanilla frosting. Dogs: ears & nose made from tootsie rolls, and the eyes are M&M's. Cats: pink Starburst ears with tootsie roll noses & whiskers, M&M's for eyes. These turned out purrrfect for a little kids party. Happy 4th Birthday Sara!!!!!

Mary's cupcake tower

Mary decided that she wanted to be different and have a cupcake tower instead of a traditional wedding cake. Thanks to her dad Brett, who made the tower, I was able to do it for her. The cake on top was chocolate on chocolate, and the cupcakes were all a mix of chocolate & vanilla. It turned out very cute with her colors being cream & brown. Thanks Mary & Mac for letting me help! Your party was a blast, I wish you the best!!!!!

Cake Walk

We had a few Christmas parties to attend this year as most people do. One in particular was a very small carnival for the great-grand children. My Grandmother-in-law asked me to make a Grand Prize cake for the cake walk. It was nothing super fancy, but still way cute. The Christmas Tree was one of my candy molds, and I just happened to have a small star cutter for the top.

Gingerbread houses 2009

Normally I don't put pictures of people on my blog, but this just had to be shared. We decorated gingerbread houses at my place with my husbands family this year. We had a few mishaps that were pretty funny, Sorry Chan & Beth!
